Where it all began. Humble beginnings, to now taste maker in the central west.

The Country Plate, Rylstone NSW

I am Jenna. Home for many years was on the farm at Ilford, NSW and I now live close by in the historic town of Rylstone.

Established in 2015 from humble beginnings, The Country Plate specialises in quality, small-batch, handmade food products. My focus is to provide a range that becomes a staple in your home, your ultimate go-to gift & your piece of the Central West to share with others near and far.

‘From cooking with my mother and grandmothers to baking for the local farmers market I always knew I had a love of food that I wanted to share, thus The Country Plate was born in 2015’

At age 21 I opened The Country Plate bistro. I now have two small children and my business is structured around their daily routine and activities. I would like visitors and residents alike to be able to share a piece of the central west. I created The Country Plate range to showcase my regional town through food. I love what I do and I love sharing that with others. From my much loved ‘Rylstone Road’ (a traditional milk chocolate rocky road) to my sought-after Date and Almond Chutney I believe my products are an experience to be savoured and shared.

I consider myself a friendly face in the community, a caring neighbour, a loving mother and wife, and a passionate businesswoman. I like to use my products to promote life in our regional towns. I want my products to be a go to in country homes and deliciousness that travelers can take home to start a discussion and share their story of our part of regional Australia.
